The Radio Authority has received 13 applications for the new regional licence that will serve the Solent region. One application, SFX 105.2FM was submitted by DMG Radio Ltd, a subsidiary of the Daily Mail and General trust. The Authority is now inviting comments from interest parties, and the public, on the ‘public interest’ implications of the granting the new licence to this applicant, should they be favoured for the award.
