Bristol United Press, the regional newspaper publisher, has reported annual financial results which show a 26% increase in pre-tax profits to £8.4m. This was on turnover which increased from £61.2m to £62.5m. Improved trading conditions in the South West meant that ad revenue for the group rose 7.9%.
