Cinema admissions for the first quarter of 1993 were up by 12.4% on the same period last year. The average weekly admissions figure for January to March was 2.1m.The increase was mainly due to high admissions in January and February. In comparison March was a disappointing month with admissions down by 10.1% to 1.55m.
