Maxus appoints Emil Bielski as head of business development

Maxus UK has appointed Emil Bielski as its new head of business development. Bielski will join the UK leadership team and will be responsible for continuing to develop Maxus’s ‘Leading Change’ proposition. He will also manage the agency’s new business ventures, with an immediate focus on the recently launched Maxus Scotland.

Bielski joins Maxus from MEC where he held a number of roles across data strategy, brand planning and digital. In 2015 he was appointed head of performance planning. In this role, he helped develop MEC’s response product and planning process. He was also responsible for overseeing the EE, Irwin Mitchell, Bupa and Fidelity accounts.

“The hiring of Emil highlights our commitment to data and performance,” said Anna Hickey, managing director, Maxus UK, into whom Bielski will report.

“Maxus is an agency born in the digital age and digital is at the heart of everything we do. Emil’s experience in planning and running big name client accounts meant that he was the perfect candidate to drive Maxus’s business development forward.”

Bielski added: “By helping its clients lead change, Maxus has established itself as one of the leading global media networks. I am thrilled to be taking up this new role at such an ambitious, agile and innovative agency.”
