Emap To Invest In Marketing Revamped More!

Emap’s young women’s title More! is to relaunch with a new look from 7 August. A multi-million pound marketing campaign will promote the fortnightly title’s new editorial content, which will include Snoop!, a 20-page celebrity section.
The marketing campaign will include a TV treatment, breaking on 8 August. Visually, the title has been given a “fresher, sexier and more modern look.”
Editor Marianne Jones commented: “As the market leading young women’s title, we stay at the top by keeping in tune with the constantly moving tastes of our readers.”
Emap Advertising’s head of youth, Rory Brett, said that the title “continues to strengthen its unique position in the market place”, adding that the revamped title will “continue to excite advertisers and readers alike.”
In the July-December ABC figures, More! saw its circulation decline year on year by 3.3% to below the 300,000 mark. Emap will doubtless be hoping for better news when the January-June figures are released later this month, but with this revamp and marketing push appears to be showing its commitment to the title.
