Pinterest is expanding its Pinterest Trends measurement tool to 30 new countries and has launched a new API (application programming interface) for Conversions.

The announcement, made at this week’s Advertising Week event in New York, comes as tech companies are attempting to provide more relevant data to advertisers following Apple’s changes to data privacy.

Pinterest’s new API for Conversions provides advertisers a “comprehensive view” of campaign performance to measure the actions those audiences took on an advertiser’s site.

Pinterest is also promising the API will also integrate conversions features globally in the coming weeks with commerce partner Shopify and tag management partner Google Tag Manager.
