🏷️ WPP is reportedly exploring a sale of its public relations arm, Burson. (The Times)

🎰 Google News has begun showing bets from prediction market Polymarket alongside actual news articles. These appear as large blocks that contain links to gambling opportunities related to the news. (Futurism)

📱 Meta, Google, Snap, and Microsoft have criticised the European Union for blocking the extension of a law that permits them to scan for child sexual exploitation on their platforms. The law was a carve-out of the EU Privacy Act, put in place as a temporary measure to let companies use automated detection technologies to identify and report CSAM, but it was allowed to expire amid data privacy concerns. However, Big Tech platforms are still liable to remove illegal content even if automatically scanning for it is now illegal. (The Guardian)
