✅ Warner Bros Discovery shareholders overwhelmingly voted to approve Paramount Skydance‘s $111bn deal to acquire the company. Investors however voted against giving lavish golden parachutes to CEO David Zaslav and other WBD leadership via the merger. (Variety)

📺 RTL Group has received final approval by the European Commission to acquire Sky Deutschland. RTL expects to close the transaction on 1 June 2026. (RTL Group)

🗣️ Substack has introduced translation tools to allow authors to reach new audiences, first through its Notes feature and later through posts. English-language posts will be able to be translated into 15 other languages, while 100 other languages will be able to translated into English. (Substack)

⚖️ A former employee of MrBeast (Jimmy Donaldson) has filed a lawsuit alleging she faced “intentional infliction of emotional distress” from harassment, was asked to work during maternity leave, and was wrongfully fired soon after returning from leave.
