What Digital Camera Magazine Celebrates 100th Issue

What Digital Camera Cover The UK’s premier digital photography magazine, What Digital Camera is gearing up to celebrate its 100th issue, with the birthday publication packed full of the best products and reviews.

Owned by IPC Media, the monthly publication will feature 100 best digital products, 100 top digital hints and tips and 100 great prizes to win. The issue will be covermounted with a CD containing 100 free backgrounds along with 12 free photoshop tutorials.

Since its start, What Digital Camera magazine has gained in popularity, increasing its readership from just under 13,000 five years ago, to over 22,000 according to the latest ABC results.

Meanwhile, IPC’s film and music magazine, Uncut, is also celebrating its one hundredth issue and its highest circulation ever, with a star studded party over a three night residency at London’s 100 Club this month (see Uncut Celebrates 100th Issue And Circulation Success).

Elsewhere in magazines, publisher, Highbury House Communications and high-street retailer, The GAME, have announced plans to join forces to publish the official GAME magazine, with the first issue expected to go on sale in September (see Highbury Launches New Gaming Magazine).

Highbury has recently sold its Real Homes magazine to rival publisher, Hachette Filipacchi UK for £500,000 as part of its ongoing restructuring scheme.

Just weeks after shutting Home magazine, Highbury also announced the closure of another of its home-interest lifestyles magazines, Inspirations (see Highbury Offloads Real Homes To Hachette Filipacchi).
