MediaTel Group Sports Quiz Winnners Announced
The MediaTel Group Sports Quiz in aid of Scope and the Pulmonary Hypertension Association has now reached its conclusion and the winner is Dominik Cwojdzinski of Mediacom.
Entrants to the quiz had to predict the outcome of 25 sporting events taking place since January, including who would win the University Boat Race, how many medals would Great Britain win at the Winter Olympics, as well as naming the top 3 Premiership teams at the end of the season and the 3 teams relegated from the Premiership.
The all important final question of this year asked who would win the FA Cup. Only one entrant expected (or hoped?) West Ham to win on Saturday while 22 people correctly predicted Liverpool to lift the trophy.
The top 12 placed entrants win a prize, with prizes having been donated by: Sky Media, Virgin Radio, GCap Media, Viacom Outdoor, News International, Heart 106.2 and Thomas Eggar.
