Foxy Fronts Magic Cross-Media Jukebox

Emap’s Magic 105.4 FM has announced that Neil Fox will be fronting Fox’s Jukebox 100, with the one-off special the first collaboration across all platforms of the Magic brand – radio, TV and online.

The show, broadcasting on bank holiday Monday, will air on both Magic 105.4 and Magic TV, counting down the top songs as voted for by Magic TV viewers and Magic Radio listeners via the Magic website.

Commenting on the initiative, Andria Vidler, managing director of Magic 105.4, said: “Bank Holidays are a great opportunity to indulge in ‘me time’. What better way for fans of Magic to relax and make the most of the day than to enjoy the ultimate top 100 – chosen by them and presented by Magic 105.4’s very own Neil Fox”.

Neil Fox will present both shows, on the radio show he will read out the best emails received on why fans love the track, while on Magic TV, a scrolling bar will reveal why songs have been chosen.

Magic fans will be invited to vote online for their top-five tracks from the 80 favourite videos uploaded from core playlists, telling Magic why they love the songs. Voting will close on April 28, with the top 50 tunes will also be counted down on Magic 105.4 between 8:00am and Midday on the same day.

Last month, Magic launched a major promotion, giving away £6,000 a day throughout March as DJ Neil Fox hosts the station’s March Money Madness activity within his More Music Breakfast Show.
