BBC Keeps It In The Family For Ratings Win

Jane Horrocks The BBC’s genealogy programme, Who Do You Think You Are, continued its rating success last night, as 5.4 million adults tuned in on average to see actress Jane Horrocks trace her ancestry.

The programme, which has dominated Wednesday night viewing with its latest series, topped ITV’s film, 2 Fast 2 Furious, which drew 3.4 million in comparison.

Also competing with the BBC was Channel 4’s new series of Brat Camp, which drew 3.3 million adults on average, preceded by Relocation, Relocation, Relocation with a healthy 3.9 million, and followed by Desperate Housewives, watched by 3.1 million.

Five’s largest audience of the evening came with The Godfather: Part III. An average adult audience of 968,000 tuned in to the film, which concluded Five’s run of the crime trilogy.
