Van Den Belt Annelies van den Belt, head of ITV.com, is leaving the broadcaster after 15 months to join the Russian online publisher, Sup.

It was also revealed today that four key executives have left ITV’s sponsorship team, which is headed by brand partnerships director Gary Knight.

Mark Rosenegk, head of sponsorship and interactive, and sponsorship manager Kevin Giles, left the company last week, while sponsorship controllers Leigh Alexander and Ella Fletcher, have moved to SPP, which handles Walker Media’s sponsorship activity.

Van den Belt, who does not yet have a leaving date at ITV, will join Sup on June 1.

Her role at ITV involved helping to launch ITV.com, where digital revenues increased 60% during her tenure.

Dominic Cameron, ITV chief technology adviser and one of the founding team of lastminute.com, will become acting managing director of itv.com with immediate effect.

Van Den Belt’s new role as Sup general manager, Russia, will see her take charge of the company’s commercial strategy, with a brief to improve profitability in Europe’s fastest growing internet market.

Van Den Belt joined ITV.com as managing director in January 2007 after leaving her director of new media role at Telegraph Media Group. Before that, she spent five years at News International in roles including digital director.
