Global market information group, Taylor Nelson Sofres (TNS), has acquired the business and assets of Elrick & Lavidge Marketing Research (E&L), a US customised research company. E&L specialises in the consumer, financial services, IT and telecoms industries, as well as being a leader in mystery shopping research, says TNS.
Turnover for the year ended 31 December 2001 at E&L was $22.9 million and net assets at that date were $2.6 million. The value of the acquisition was not disclosed.
