Omnicom Group has reported an 8% rise in profits for the second quarter of 2006 on the back of new business wins.
Net income for the six months ending June 30 increased 9% to $409.7 million from $376.3 million in the same period in 2005 and international revenue increased 8% to $1,288.0 million compared to $1,188.1 million in Q2 2005.
Last month Omnicom announced a partnership with the Chinese company Citic Guoan, creating one of the biggest advertising companies in the country.
