United Business Media has acquired the International Direct Marketing Fair (IDMF) from Reed.
Mark Snell, group director at CMP, said: “While we review the potential for the IDMF to be re-launched in 2010 we believe that the short term interests of the market and our customers will be best served by incorporating both the IDMF and ECDM exhibitors into our current events for 2009.”
Alastair Gornall, chief executive of Reed Exhibitions said: “We believe that it is in customers’ best interest for this event to be part of a larger marketing portfolio.”
