Dot com layoffs in the US have decreased for the second month running, down to 9,533 in March, from 11,649 in February and 12,828 in March according to US recruitment company Challenger, Gray & Christmas.
Although this trend is set to continue this is thought to be due to a decline in numbers employed rather than an indication of recovery of the sector.
