C4’s Alex Mahon to speak at The Future of TV Advertising Global

Alex Mahon, Channel 4’s CEO, has been announced as a speaker at The Future of TV Advertising Global in December.

Mahon, who took the top job at Channel 4 in 2017, will highlight the vital role that broadcaster VOD (BVOD) plays for advertisers in an age of media fragmentation.

This includes BVOD as a unique opportunity for brands amid a competitive streaming landscape, how agenda-setting content can help advertisers stand out and BVOD’s success in creating audiences away from its platform.

During Mahon’s tenure, Channel 4 has transformed into a digital-first broadcaster and built a strong social media presence and brand.

Mahon is a former CEO of software business Foundry and TV production company Shine Group, having began her career in the field of physics. She is a member of the UK’s Creative Industries Council and an ambassador for London Tech Week.

The Future of TV Advertising Global takes place during 10-11 December at Kings Place, London. Secure your ticket here.
