Global launches self-service platform to book audio and OOH media

Global has today launched a self-service platform, AdPower, allowing businesses to book audio and outdoor media in minutes, with campaigns going live as soon as the next day.

The AdPower platform offers the opportunity to plan, create, book, and measure premium media campaigns in one place, making it easier for businesses who may not have engaged with traditional media before.

The platform provides access to inventory across Global’s radio brands, such as Heart, Capital, and LBC, as well as its outdoor advertising network, including BT Street Hubs, the nationwide bus network, and Transport for London.

Miranda Matthews, director of AdPower, said: “Until now, premium mass-reach media has often felt too slow, too complex or too confusing for many digitally native businesses.

“Today, AdPower changes that. It gives advertisers a simple, fast, and direct way to access the scale and impact of outdoor and audio advertising.”

Campaigns can go live on Global’s FM, DAB, and DAX audio platforms, as well as Global’s outdoor network, and advertisers can track delivery and performance in real time through live dashboards.

Its AI capabilities also enable businesses to quickly create adverts for free using its AI ad design tool, or upload existing creative assets.

Marisa Poser, co-founder of Matcha tea brand, PerfectTed, which took part in the pilot, described the platform as allowing businesses “to book media as easily as you can book an Uber.”
