Southern Radio, which provides local radio services to Hampshire, Kent and Sussex, increased pre-tax profits by 24% to £0.96m for the year to September 30.These results are the first to reflect a full 12 month period for the group since the merger of Southern with Invicta Radio in December 1991.
Radio Clyde has announced results for the year ending September. Pre-tax profits have increased 178% from £1.09m to £3.03m.Turnover was up 12%, boosted by exceptional credits, arising from selling some of their investments in Satellite Media Services.
