The Association of Media Independents has this week been renamed the Association for Media and Communications Specialists. The new organisation is open to companies involved in sponsorship, consultancy and communications. The news comes at the same time as MBS, former member of AMI, left to join the IPA. (Newsline 13/9).

The Retail Prices Index, released this morning, showed inflation up 0.1% from 2.3% in July to 2.4% in August. This is attributed to shop prices bouncing back after the summer sales.
