MTV has signed a distribution deal with TeleWest, on behalf of VH-1, MTV Europe and Nickelodeon. The contract with TeleWest, the UK’s largest cable operator, is the first five year distribution deal for VH-1 and Nickelodeon. Each channel will be distributed to TeleWest’s 145,000 subscribers for five years.
Central Television is expected to announce the loss of up to 100 jobs as a result of restructuring after the merger with Carlton.
