Young and Rubicam are looking to make around a dozen redundancies from their main agency. No more details are available at present. Meanwhile KHBB has made four people redundant in its creative department. A further 9 people have resigned from WCRS following the restructure that left 20 people redundant last week.

Chiltern Radio has announced profits of £1.3m for the year to September 30, this represents an increase of 35% on the previous year. The Chiltern network, which covers the Northern Home Counties area, intends to expand by applying for some of the 30 new stations the Radio Authority will advertise next year.
Following its closure, directors of the Sunday Correspondent have put the title up for sale and are attempting to refund the shareholders through voluntary liquidation. Finance director, Alan Thompson, confirmed there was some interest in the sale but would not say from where.
