15 Million See Hallam’s Flame Extinguish

Over fifteen million people tuned into London’s Burning on 29th September to see firefighter John Hallam plummet to a fiery grave. An audience of 15.72 million viewers and a consolidated share of 64%, helped to make the show the second most watched programme of the week behind Monday’s edition of Coronation Street.

The new series of Central’s drama programme Soldier Soldier, continues to lose viewers following the departures of Robson Greene and Jerome Flynn. The previous series had a peak audience of 15.38 million, while this week’s episode has only managed an audience of 9.86 million viewers.

Television viewing for individuals four plus has fallen by 3.27% when compared to the same week last year. In Astra Panel homes viewing of all channels has also fallen, this time by 1.4% compared to the same week last year.
