5.2 Million Tune In To Spooks

Spooks Spooks on BBC One once again managed to outperform ITV1’s new drama, Vincent, gaining an average of 5.2 million adult viewers compared to 4.8 million for the Ray Winstone drama.

Vincent has boosted its audience in the past few weeks (see Spooks Battles Vincent), last night taking a 23% audience share, compared to 24% for the MI5 drama. Too Big To Walk on Channel 4 at the same time managed 2.3 million, a 10.8% viewing share.

Coronation Street continued to break the 10 million mark (see Corrie Double Bill Lures 10 Million To ITV1), with the first instalment of the soap being watched by an average of 10.2 million adults (50%) and the second episode by 9.3 million (41.8%).

Planet Earth‘s repeat on BBC Two at 7pm managed to gain 2.2 million adult viewers on average, a viewing share of 11.2%, whilst Eastenders followed by Trauma took 8.3 million and 3.4 million respectively, 39% and 15.5%.

The New Paul O’Grady show on Channel 4 continued to boost its audience (see Champions League Attracts 5.2 Million To ITV1), managing to lure 2.9 million adults for the broadcaster (22.8%), whilst Five’s new drama, Tripping Over, shed a large number of viewers from its debut last week, down to 332,000 adults from 800,000 (see New Five Drama Attracts Less Than One Million Adult Viewers).
