Electronic Telegraph Sponsors First Ever New Media Database

MediaTel is launching the first ever online New Media database today. The catalogue sponsored by Electronic Telegraph,aims to revolutionise online advertising. It holds details of advertising opportunities on the Internet including search engines and Web site information on UK national newspapers, consumer magazines, and key business areas such as finance, marketing and property.

Information is available on display and classified advertising rates, contacts, editorial description; direct links and audited counts (initially publisher’s statements). ABC will be contributing information on who has applied for audits.

There is also a jargon-busting guide to New Media and details of all the latest developments in web advertising for agency planners plus useful general Internet advertising information. Danny Meadows-Klue, product manager for the Electronic Telegraph, said: “This latest development in web advertising is a major step forward in opening up the marketing potential of the Internet. For the first time there will be a single place on the web where agencies and clients can find a comprehensive database of rates and data for all online publications. The Electronic Telegraph New Media database will make the buying and selling of “webvertising” as easy as traditional media.”
