AA Welcomes Relaxation On Bingo Advertising
The Advertising Association has welcomed the news that bingo operators will be allowed to advertise their facilities and prizes for the first time. The announcement from the National Heritage that the operators will be able to advertise on television, radio and cinema follows a similar decision to allow betting shops and casinos to advertise their services in regional newspapers and magazines.
Andrew Brown, Director General of the AA, said: “Bingo clubs have clearly been at a disadvantage since the introduction of the National Lottery, and the Advertising Association has been at the forefront of industry activity to change this anomaly.”
