Abbott Mead Vickers Hit £10.43m Profit
Ad agency Abbott Mead Vickers has announced pre-tax profits of £10.43m for 1995, up 27% on 1994’s £8.22m. Turnover increased by 18% to £287.11m and dividends per share rose from 7.40p to 9.00p.
It has been a successful year for AMV in other areas too, with AMV-BBDO being named International Agency of the Year and UK Agency of the Year. 18 new clients were won for the AMV-BBDO and Leagus Delaney group including Timberland, Snickers and Pizza Hut. New business wins included BT Chargecard, ICI and Barclaycard.
After acquiring Barraclough Hall Woolston Gray and Fishburn Hedges Boys Williams in 1995 a further acquisition is expected to be announced soon.
