ABC Consumer July-Dec 2013: News & Current Affairs
Domestic
The latest Consumer ABC results for July-December 2013 reveal little change for the Domestic sector – up 0.9% year on year (YoY).
Private Eye and The Week once again secured the top two spots of the sector, recording marginal period on period (PoP) increases – up 0.6% and 0.5%, respectively – Private Eye both experienced small declines over the year.
BBC History Magazine also performed reasonably well – up 4.1% PoP and 6.3% YoY to increase its circulation by an average of 4,700 each month.
The Spectator Group recorded the largest declines of all the Domestic titles, down 12.8% PoP and -15% YoY to lose over 9,500 copies each edition.

Business & Finance
The Business and Finance sector was down -0.3% year on year.
The Economist’s Continental Europe Edition and United Kingdom Edition led the ranks, with both titles securing an average monthly circulation of 229,000 and 208,000, respectively, while the Asia Pacific Edition came in third place with a total average circulation of 136,000 for the period, despite reporting both PoP and YoY declines.
However, the biggest increases belonged to MoneyWeek – up 9.2% PoP and 22.4% YoY to bag the publication an extra 10,400 copies each edition on average.
