ABC October – Indy traffic up 12%

The Independent enjoyed a 12% boost to its web traffic in October, averaging at a little less than 3.64 million visitors a day.

Metro also performed well, up 16.6% to 1.35 million, while the Sun was up 8.2% to 3.15 million.

Of the most popular online national newsbrands, Telegraph Online came of worst after recording a -7.6% decline in browsers. However, it remains the third best-performing online news platform with a little over 4 million visitors a day.

MailOnline’s traffic decreased -3% compared to the previous month, however this had little impact on its 14.3 million daily browsers.
