Adshel Secures Street Furniture Contracts Worth £6m

Adshel has secured the street furniture contracts for Coventry and Canterbury in two separate deals worth a combined £6 million.
The deal for Coventry represents the first time that the area has had a street furniture contract and will see Adshel supply the city with 50 new bus shelters, as well a range of 6-sheet advertising panels.
The outdoor contractor has also beaten off competition from rival street furniture companies to renegotiate its existing contract with Canterbury City Council for a further 15 years.
Julie France, managing director of Adshel, commented: “We are delighted to have been awarded this brand new street furniture contract with Coventry City Council. Coventry is the UK’s 18th largest city and a thriving centre of commerce. The deal will give our clients the opportunity to advertise on sites within the West Midlands’ conurbation.”
Coventry Councillor, Dave Batten, added: “This deal with Adshel is good news for Coventry and I am delighted that we will be working with the market leaders to provide top quality advertising opportunities. As part of the deal we have the opportunity to promote city council services alongside commercial organisations.”
Adshel recently launched a new water-filled advertising format to promote the new moisture resistant trousers from Dockers (see Adshel Launches New Wet Ad Format For Dockers Campaign).
