Advertisement Director For Future
Future Publishing has created the position of advertising director within the group, as well as appointing two other new directors.
Andrew Millbourne will take up the gauntlet as advertising director this Monday, working across the whole of the Future portfolio and taking responsibility for all of Future’s ad activities. He commented: “I am delighted to be joining future at such an exciting stage in its history, now that it’s independent once more. The company has achieved stupendous growth in the past few years, and I’m looking forward to helping drive that further.”
Judith Green is appointed operations director, and Mike Frey moves up to publishing director of Future’s sport and entertainments division.
The move comes as the publisher expects a busy launch schedule over the next year. This year saw it release the science title Frontiers (see Newsline), relaunch the bike magazine Total Bike! (see Newsline) and this month sees the launch of PC Gamer Tips and Windows Answers. Other computer related titles are expected to launch in the next few months, including Arcade, a multi-format gaming magazine, and a new Sony-linked launch.
Greg Ingham, chief executive, said of the appointments: “Each in their very different ways will add value to our business as we all seek to drive it forwards in the coming years.”
