The Aegis group, the holding company of Europe’s largest media buying and planning group yesterday announced profits for the first six months of 1993.
The figure for pre-tax profits was £13.2m, compared to break even in the first half of last year, and a loss of £1.9m for the year to end of December 1992. Turnover rose 4% to £1.4 billion with operating costs down 3%.
All the companies in Aegis are grouped under the name Carat.
