McCann-Erickson has completed the final element of its senior management restructure with the appointment of Ben Langdon as managing director and chief executive officer. Discussions between David Warden, chairman of McCann-Erickson, and Langdon, have been going on for nearly six months to bring the chief executive of Collett Dickenson Pearce (CDP) to McCann-Erickson.

Optimedia has confirmed that Simon Mathews, managing director of Equinox Communications, is to become its new managing director. It has also emerged that JWT’s former buying controller, Cameron Piper, has joined MBS Media as head of television. He replaces Clint Easthorpe who will join Saatchi and Saatchi Indonesia as media director.
