Amra Secures First National Campaign In Regional Press
The regional sales house Amra has secured the first ever national campaign in the regional press for Thorntons, the confectionary retailer.
The campaign will stretch across 57 evening titles in the UK, and be exclusive to the regional press enabling Thorntons to reach more of its target customers in areas where national newspapers have low penetration.
The promotions are planned between June and July, and have also been designed to coincide with the August Bank Holiday. The first round of colour ads will reach 11 million readers.
Trinity acquired Amra towards the end of last year, and the company represents a broad number of regional media owners across the UK (see Newsline).
