Amra is to sell the Chester-based titles of Thomson Regional Newspapers. This is the first time any TRN titles have been sold by a different organisation to Thomson Media Sales.
A Thomson Regional Newspapers statement said it was “a tactical action for the Chester market. No other TRN centres will be affected in any way.” Over ten titles are involved, including the Herald and Post series and the Chester and Crewe Chronicles. The changes take effect from November 21st.
