The WH Smith’s ad starring Nicholas Lyndhurst took the National TV Award for best advertisement at last night’s ceremony. Actor David ‘Del Boy’ Jason came away with three awards (most popular actor, most popular comedy performer and most popular comedy programme for Only Fools And Horses). Michael Barrymore won most popular entertainment presenter for the third year running and Martine McCutcheon (Tiffany from EastEnders) took the most popular actress award.
320,000 viewers voted for the awards.
