Another Resignation At Channel 4

Russell Hawes, Channel 4’s joint London sale chief, has resigned. He leaves the station to do an MBA. His departure has triggered a restructuring of the channel’s advertising department.

Matt Shreeve, who was the other half of the London Sales chief role, has been promoted to the newly created position of London sales controller. Shreeve will report to Andy Barnes, Channel 4’s head of advertising sales. Meanwhile, the business manager, Mark Parker, becomes London sales manager.

Channel 4’s two sales teams, have now been split into 6 divisions all of which report to Shreeve and Parker. David Stubley’s business development group will now manage the sponsorship department; it had previously come under Hawes’ supervision.
