AOL Promotes New Broadband Package With National Campaign

AOL UK is launching a national press and poster campaign to publicise its new “no frills” broadband package.

The new package, which launched earlier this month, will be publicised via a national 96-sheet and 48-sheet posters running alongside national press ads, which feature the strapline: “the mother of all broadband services.”

Competition in the broadband market is fierce and AOL’s new £27.99 a month service (see Broadband Connections Break The One Million Mark) was quickly matched by rival Freeserve (see Freeserve Ups Stakes With Broadband Price Cut). In the meantime BT has linked up with Sky to provide discounted broadband packages.
