Applause, a new theatre magazine, is being launched in time for October. Priced at £2.50, the magazine provides a full round-up of London’s theatre scene and includes reviews of art exhibitions, opera, dance and books. Each edition will have special offers and promotions and contributions will come from various newspaper critics.
Applause will appear in A4 colour staple-bound with an initial print run of approximately 20,000.
Men’s sport and fitness magazine, XL, is relaunched this week. The title has been restructured with a news section, a questions and answers section, a features section, and a health and fitness section.
Gruner and Jahr are launching a Christmas magazine entitled Prima Christmas Traditions. The title will run alongside the Prima title and hopes to compete with other home-style magazines. Prima Christmas Traditions is launched on October 21 and is priced at £2.25. It will appear in a glossy format with an initial print run of 300,000.
