The ITC has received two applications for a licence to provide a Commercial Additional Service for a ten year period on spare capacity within the broadcast signal for C4 and S4C Wales.
The applicants and the amounts of their cash bids are: SimpleActive Limited £78,000 Skytext Limited £355,000
The licence will normally be awarded to the highest bidder, once the technical plans have been approved. The ITC should award its decision in the autumn.
