Appointments Made At Expanding Sci-Fi Sales

Mark Bradford has been promoted to director of international advertising sales at the Sci-Fi Channel Europe . Barry Frey, managing director of advertising sales at USA Networks International, also announced an expansion of the European sales team by six additional positions as the channel aims for expansion in Europe.

So far four appointments have been made: James Wildman has joined from Laser as agency sales controller; Jason Blain becomes account manager from Scoot; Linda Kennedy joins as account executive and Miranda Maguire leaves GMTV to become head of research.

The moves come after the Sci-Fi Channel’s transfer of its ad sales business in-house from BSkyB (subscribers see Sci-Fi Channel Pulls Sales In-House).
