Appointments Round-Up

Gaby Fireman, former Sunday Business ad director, has taken on the role of sales group head at CLT UK Radio’s Atlantic 252. Mr Fireman left the Sunday Business two weeks ago and previously worked as financial advertisement manager for the Times from 1993 to 1995. He then moved to Express Newspapers as display sales group head.

David Croft has been appointed as regional sales director for Laser Sales. Mr Croft, previously Channel 4’s client sales controller, will head Laser’s sales for Manchester, Leeds, and Newcastle.

Joanne Nicol-Gent becomes senior marketing manager for SouthBank Publishing Group’s Options and Women’s Journal on October 1. She will also oversee the running of the Woman’s Journal Fashion Show.

The ITV Network Centre has appointed Marion Bowman as deputy controller of factual programmes. The position will be taken over from John Blake who steps down in October.

Rachel Sampson takes on the role of deputy research manager at EMAP Metro. Rachel is leaving her post of research manager at Ammirati & Puris/Lintas London to join Nikki Messham at EMAP Metro. The two previously worked in the media department at McCanns in London.
