Atlantic 252 Launches New Identity

Atlantic 252 has unveiled a new logo and advertising campaign in an on-going attempt to reposition itself. Last year, the national station acquired a new programme director in the form of David Dunne, who was previously head of music at MTV (see Newsline).

The station decided it wanted to reposition itself in order to appeal to a more trendy, hip audience in July last year (see Newsline), and the new campaign, understood to be worth around £1 million, is described as ‘irreverent and contentious’. It takes the form of 6-sheet posters and building wraps, and has already been launched.
