AUGUST TV REVENUE & SHARES

The combined ITV/C4 revenue estimates for August have come in at £115.90m – a 9.6% increase on the same period last year. The individual revenues for ITV and C4 came in at £95.14m and £20.76m respectively – a 82:18 split – representing ITV’s best performance for a number of months.

In terms of contractor shares the best performance on last year was achieved by the combined YTTV – up 1.44% points on August 1992. Both London contractors saw their shares fall on 1992 – LWT by 1.48% points and Carlton by 0.1% points. (LWT had one less trading day, Carlton one extra.)
