Austria Moves To Hampstead

Austrian Airlines are to sponsor the Hampstead and Highgate Express’s new look leisure section, which appears on the back page of the newspaper.

Lasting for a year the deal involves banner strips at the top and bottom of the back page, which itself has changed to a more chatty format, including a crossword and celebrity interviews. In addition to the banner strips Austrain Airlines will also have the occasional full page ad in the newspaper, as well as combining with the title to offer reader competition prizes such as flights on the airline.

Whilst no figure regarding the cost of the sponsorship has been released Doug Bonn, Ham and High MD, said it represented a ‘significant investment particularly in regional media terms.’ ‘The combination of the Ham & High’s upmarket profile, in addition to the ethnic mix of the area is exactly what the airline were looking for.’
