Auto Express In Sponsorship Deal

Auto Express, the weekly title, is to launch a 12-week national promotion to run simultaneously with its renewed sponsorship of ITV’s “The Motor Show”. The sponsorship package, negotiated by Booth Lockett Makin, will run in the Granada, Border, LWT and Yorkshire and Tyne Tees areas. The new series starts on 4 March.

The simultaneous promotion, “Dream of a Drive”, starts on March 3 and will run every week in the Auto Express for 3 months. Readers will be offered the opportunity to drive their dream car, which in the first week is the Aston Martin DB7.

Auto Express won the best use of TV Sponsorship category in the 1994 Media Week Broadcast Awards for their sponsorship of ITV’s Motor Show.
