Auto Trader Launches New Web Service

Auto Trader has launched the next stage of its Internet service, called “AutoTrader Interactive”.

The site offers an enhanced user interface and design, eight vehicle channels and a total online buying and selling experience.

There are currently 100,000 vehicles online including the colour photos of the vehicles. This will be rising to 200,000 in the coming months. Auto Trader Interactive has also introduced a series of new search channels such as Cars, Bikes, 4WD, Caravans, and Vans and the new search options allow the user to specify exactly what is required – from colour, age, or miles on the clock, to distance prepared to travel and money prepared to spend.

There is also online finance and insurance from leading brands such as Alliance and Leicester and Hamilton Direct Bank, and tips and offers from the likes of the AA, RAC and The Disabled Drivers Association.

Lee Williams, New Media Manager commented: “Auto Trader Interactive is already one of the top ten commercial Websites in the UK, and we are investing heavily in its success. Auto Trader Interactive is inherent to Auto Trader’s annual marketing spend of £5m and in the next three months our communications campaign will hit 70% of all UK Internet users.”
