A major study from the PPA shows that 87% of business decision makers regularly consult B2B magazines which, according to the research, dominate all other media in terms of usefulness.
Of the 500 business decision-makers interviewed for the study, which was conducted by NFO WorldGroup, 73% said that B2B magazines contain information useful to their jobs and 80% said that they were the source normally used when looking for good quality job advertisements.
As well as highlighting the importance of B2B magazines, the survey also found that the internet has made a rapid impact on the media landscape and is now considered to be the second most important media overall.
79% of respondents agreed that the internet and business publications compliment each other, with 87% saying that website run by business publications are useful.
The PPA also recently released research showing that television adverts are more annoying than any other kind (see TV Advertising Most Annoying, Says PPA Research).
