BARB has appointed Joe Lewis as project director on its executive team, alongside welcoming Gary Roddy into its client services department.
As project director, Lewis – who joined BARB in 2010 – will be responsible for co-ordinating how BARB and its stakeholders adapt to emerging issues facing broadcast audience research.
“BARB is in the process of defining and delivering services that reinforce its position in the value chain of the UK broadcasting and advertising industry,” said Justin Sampson, chief executive of BARB.
“Since joining the BARB team in 2010, Joe has made a significant contribution because of his research expertise and an instinctive grasp of knowing the right thing to do.”
Roddy, who has worked for broadcasters including ITV, Channel 4 and Virgin Media, will join BARB’s client services team as maternity cover for Sarah Mowbray.
Both Lewis and Roddy will take up their positions with immediate effect.
